由第二章第節(jié)的性能曲線知道,的揚(yáng)程是隨流量的變化而變化,每個(gè)流都有相對(duì)應(yīng)的揚(yáng)程、功率、效率及汽蝕余量。從零流量到最大流量為條連續(xù)曲線,如圖4-1AB線所示。那么泵工作在哪一點(diǎn)上呢?它是由外界的負(fù)荷,即裝置揚(yáng)程來(lái)決定的。所以如果將泵的流量-揚(yáng)程性能曲線與裝置揚(yáng)程特性曲線按相同比例尺寸畫到同張圖上,如圖4-1所示,AB、CE兩曲線相交于D點(diǎn),D點(diǎn)就是泵的運(yùn)行工作點(diǎn)。因?yàn)樵?/span>D點(diǎn),水泵供給的能量與管路內(nèi)液體流動(dòng)時(shí)所消耗的能量得到平衡。如果假設(shè)在G點(diǎn)工作,泵所供給的能量大于管路內(nèi)液體流動(dòng)所消耗的能量,那么多余的能量將使管內(nèi)的液體加速,使流量增加,泵的工作點(diǎn)就會(huì)向右移動(dòng),直到D點(diǎn)能量平衡為止。如果假設(shè)在F點(diǎn)工作,泵所供給能量小于管路內(nèi)液體流動(dòng)所消耗的能量,管內(nèi)流動(dòng)液體減速,使流量減少, 工作點(diǎn)向左移動(dòng),直到D點(diǎn)平衡為止。

Because at point D, the energy supplied by the pump is balanced with the energy consumed when the liquid in the pipeline flows. If it is assumed that the energy supplied by the pump is greater than the energy consumed by the liquid flow in the pipeline when working at point G, the excess energy will accelerate the liquid in the pipeline, increase the flow rate, and the working point of the pump will move to the right until the energy balance at point D. If it is assumed to work at point F, the energy supplied by the pump is less than the energy consumed by the liquid flow in the pipeline.
